LENARY MEETING OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WAS HELD ON FRIDAY, 12 OF JUNE
Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, informed the People´s Deputies about the results of work of The Verkhovna Rada at the plenary meetings of 11 June.
Parliamentarians have not included to the agenda the Bill on Upholding the Resolution of the President of Ukraine concerning the access of the armed forces of the other countries on the territory of Ukraine for the multinational military training in year 2009.
The bill fo the Law "On System of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting" in new revision was introduced by the People´s Deputy, Andriy Shevchenko. People´s Deputies expressed numerous remarks to the Bill.
As a result of the scrutiny the Bill "On System of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting" was rejected.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has rejected several Bills on amendments to certain legal acts of Ukraine concerning lands belonging tot the defence use, in compulsory dispossession of property under conditions of military state.
Still one more Bill that concerns the improvement of the system of law in the sphere of the implementation of the lawful military regime. The Bill of the Law on Amendments to the Article 15 of the Law "On Legal Regime of Martial Law" was introduced by the Minister on Social Policy and Labour, Lyudmyla Denisova. The Bill envisages the organization of theissues on the impelemnation of civilian duty and attraction to the socially useful works that should be held in the interests of the citizens.
The document stipulates the authorities and the duties of the bodies of the state power, particular institutions and enterprises concerning the planning and use of the labour force in special period.
The Bill was adopted in the first reading by 334 votes.
Vice-Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine, Mykola Gerasymenko, informed on the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On State Secret". He emphasized that the bill envisages the improvement of the state system of the state secret protection. In particular, concerning the activity of the state experts on secret matters; order of the official disclosure normative-legal acts that comprises the state secret; way of the allotment, reorganization and rejection of the citizens´ access to the state secret.
As a result of scrutiny the Bill was adopted as a Basis.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted in the first reading the Bills of the Law: Bill of the Law on Access to the Public Information, on Amendments to certain Legal Acts of Ukraine (re the Simplification of the Order of the Receiving of the Rights on Land.
The Bill on "Tourism" concerning the information of the services consumers was rejected.
Then the Plenary meeting was closed.
15-19 June, the People´s Deputies would work in the Committees and Factions.
On 17 June Parliamentary Hearings "Strategy of the Innovation Development of Ukraine in 2010-2020 under the Conditions of Globalization Challenges" would be held.
The next plenary meeting would be held on 23 June.
